Steel / Plywood Waler Bracket
The EMI one-piece Waler Bracket is the most rigid in the market. Simply insert the Waler Bracket into any side rail slot not being used for ties, place a single or double 2"x4" piece of lumber on top of the bracket and drop the wedge to tighten.

Waler Ties
Waler Ties are used with the Z-Tie Holder. Waler Ties come in two lengths to accommodate 2"x4" and 2"x6" lumber.

Strong Back / Stiff Back Tie
Strong Back/Stiff Back Ties are used with the Z-Tie Holder. These ties come in three lengths and are used for vertical alignment strong backs.

Z-Tie Holder
The Z-Tie Holder is another method for attaching walers and can also be used for strongbacks. The Z-Tie Holder is used in combination with waler ties which come in two lengths to accommodate double 2"x4" and double 2"x6" lumber walers. Once the waler tie is fastened to the forms with standard wedge bolts, the lumber is positioned on each side of the tie then the Z-Tie holder is slipped over the tie and the wedge is pushed down to tighten the assembly.

Strong Back J-Hook
Strong Back J-Hooks are vertical alignment attachments that are placed at 90 degrees to walers. The strong backs are used to align the walers and are commonly placed at 6' on center.
